We collect the information needed to run the features you use. This includes account creation, sign-in, support requests, comments, reviews, private messages, product submissions, contributor requests, price or video suggestions, creator claims, and Buy & Sell listings.

This information may include your email address, username, display name, profile preferences, public posts, reviews, listing details, support messages, moderation reports, and timestamps for activity on the site.

Public product discussions, reviews, community-submitted product pages, visible profile identity such as username, and active Buy & Sell listings may be shown publicly. Do not post personal information you do not want others to see.

Private messages are intended for the conversation participants. Admins may review private messages when needed for reports, abuse review, safety, or operational support.

We use information to operate accounts, authentication, catalog contribution workflows, comments, reviews, private messages, support, moderation, admin review, Buy & Sell listings, creator claims, and site security.

We also use internal operational data to understand which products, stores, links, and community areas need attention. This helps us maintain the catalog and prioritize admin work.

TheMagicSearch sends account and workflow email, including signup confirmation, password reset, admin alerts, decision notices, and private-message unread notifications when you enable them.

Private-message notification emails do not include the message body. They only tell you that unread activity is waiting in your account.

Authentication uses cookies or similar session technology so you can stay signed in and use member features.

Google Analytics may collect usage information on public pages so we can understand visits, popular pages, and search/discovery patterns. We do not intentionally load Google Analytics on admin, account, auth, messages, API, or outbound redirect routes.

Outbound store-click tracking helps us understand product and store interest. The current design does not store raw IP addresses or raw user-agent strings for outbound click analytics.

TheMagicSearch uses service providers for hosting, database and authentication, transactional email, and spam-prevention checks such as Cloudflare Turnstile on forms where configured. Product pages may also link to third-party stores, creator sites, video platforms, and reference pages.

When you leave TheMagicSearch, the destination site controls its own privacy practices, checkout, payment, delivery, returns, and support.

Buy & Sell listings are public member posts. Listing details, seller username, product context, country or region if provided, shipping notes if provided, and asking price may be visible to other users.

Do not send payment credentials, passwords, unnecessary identity documents, or highly sensitive personal information through listings or messages. TheMagicSearch does not process payments, provide escrow, or provide buyer protection.

You can update account and profile details where the app provides controls. For account questions, privacy questions, safety reports, or correction requests, use the contact form.

We may retain records when needed for security, moderation, audit, legal, operational, or abuse-prevention reasons.
